Sophie has extensive experience conducting independent workplace investigations and reviews for organisations throughout Aotearoa. As a certified AWI investigator and lawyer, she has both technical expertise and a human approach that provides a unique skill set for effectively undertaking workplace processes.Sophie is able to navigate complex workplace issues with both efficiency and empathy. Her approach minimises the impact of the process on both the people involved and the organisation.
Prior to co-founding Woven in 2018, Sophie gained extensive legal experience working for various New Zealand law firms. She has completed the Association of Workplace Investigators Training Institute and is a Certificate Holder.

Sally brings a wealth of experience in conducting independent workplace investigations and reviews.Sally is committed to helping organisations be the best they can be. Her legal expertise equips her to handle complex workplace issues with care and precision.
Her litigation experience, combined with strong interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills, makes her a highly effective investigator and reviewer. She balances efficiency with empathy, ensuring the process is thorough, fair and people-focused.
Before co-founding Woven, Sally worked at leading law firms in New Zealand and the United Kingdom, as well as serving as an in-house solicitor.

Our independent workplace reviews can help you identify and address any issues within a team or workplace early on. When something doesn’t seem right – where there is increased turnover, low employee survey results, high sick leave or informal concerns being raised - we take a deep dive. Our review process identifies what is working well, what is not and what can be done better. We build a rapport with your people to ensure they feel comfortable to share issues that are impacting them at work. We recommend practical steps to address any issues identified . These recommendations enable you to make real improvements to ensure your people are working positively and collaboratively within a safe and supportive working environment.
