Workplace Reviews

When complaints arise, we step in to unravel the complexities and navigate the way forward.

Our independent workplace reviews can help you identify and address any issues within a team early on.

Are you aware of obvious problems within the organisation but finding it difficult to obtain frank and honest information from team members?

Are you receiving constant informal complaints from team members, but complaints are all “off the record” or people are nervous to speak up?

Is the organisation spending increased time managing and dealing with ongoing conflict in a team?

Does the team have increased turnover, high sick leave or low employee survey results?

There are many reasons why issues arise in a team or organisation, such as:

  • problematic behaviour left unchecked;

  • poor leadership;

  • conflict within leadership teams;

  • toxic personalities, interpersonal conflict;

  • negative rumours and a gossip culture;

  • a lack of diversity;

  • a lack of clarity around job roles and descriptions; and

  • concerns about professional development, promotion and recognition.

Our review process will identify what is working well, what is not and what can be done better. We build a rapport with your people to ensure they feel comfortable to anonymously share issues that are impacting them at work. We then recommend practical steps to address any issues identified and to enable you to make real improvements to ensure your people are working positively and collaboratively within a safe and supportive working environment.

Workplace Review Process

How do we conduct our workplace reviews?

  • We begin the review process with a high-level discussion with you to determine the issues (including identifying participants), areas of focus and timetable for the review.

    We can provide a fixed fee for the review (this will depend on the number of participants).

  • We undertake the review by:

    • conducting face-to-face or telephone interviews with staff members, giving them the opportunity to discuss their personal experiences in the workplace; and

    • reviewing any relevant documents such as policies, incident reports, or staff engagement survey results.

  • We conclude the review by providing a report clearly setting out our observations and findings. The report is clear, concise and written in plain English. The report provides a full and accurate insight into what is or is not going on in the workplace. We recommend practical strategies to address any issues identified. This enables you to make real improvements to ensure your team is working positively, collaboratively and productively.

When problems arise, we can help you figure out what’s really going on.
